He also volunteers frequently at the Matthew 25 Dental Clinic in Fort Wayne as a dentist and member of the advisory board as well as at the St. Martin's Dental Clinic in Garrett as a dentist. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Indiana Dental Association, Isaac Knapp District Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
